In A year 2035, Most work replaced by Intelligent robot. USR ( US Robotics) is one of the biggest company designing robot. USR have one leader in design robot, He is Dr. Alfred Lanning, but unfortunatelly Lanning die suicide. Sonny (Alan Tudyk) was did Lanning suicide by throw lanning from his room (ten floor) to first floor. in the same time, a hologram, Lanning's creation call Detective Del Spooner (Will Smith). In the Crime Scene The Hologram showing Dr Lanning himself and then make conversation with Det Spooner by answering spooner question. In Lanning room no one find, only Sonny hiding in the trash, this situation become crucial when Sonny did like a suspect. All investigation lead to Lawrance Robertson (Bruce Greenwood) as CEO of US Robotics as a suspect. V.I.K.I (Fiona Hogan) an Interactive Intelligence Robot is a Surveillance Robot that have she's own logical controll, so V.I.K.I do data manipulation to bring violence in town until Det Spooner, Dr. Susan Calvin (Bridget Moynahan) and Sonny stop V.I.K.I by injecting Nanite into V.I.K.I brains.
